Recent Updates From Aaliyah Dunbar
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Today was the worst day of your life. You feel like you want to blow things up and then to put the icing on the cake your belt loop hooked on the door handle and ripped your favorite pair of jeans. You're fed up and don’t have the best set of coping skills. You turn to substances or impulsive behavior. You’re sick and tired of feeling like you don’t have a safe place to be yourself and work through your crap. I see you and I have been there too. It’s scary to think about what life could look like once you find a new way to process the things you’re dealing with in a healthy and safe way.
"There's no shame in being afraid. Hell, we're all afraid. What you gotta do is figure out what you're afraid of because when you put a face on it, you can beat it. Better yet, you can use it.”
I am a recent graduate from Bellevue University. I have worked in psychiatric mental institutions for children, and in rehabs where I have gained four years of experience with many different types of teens and young adults with various mental health and substance abuse challenges. You can learn more about me at Unityyfs.com!
