Recent Updates From Abby Middleton
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I see psychotherapy as an opportunity to explore the stories of our lives with the hope of finding healing in our ability to connect more deeply with ourselves and one another other, gain insight, flexibility, compassion, and freedom. I specialize in working with individuals who are looking to heal from trauma, past or ongoing traumatic stress, sexual and gender-based violence, spiritual abuse, and grief.
My practice is relational, trauma-focused and is rooted in Feminist, Relational-Cultural, and Attachment Theories. I have specialized training in several therapeutic approaches, including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy, which allows my work to be eclectic and flexible to your needs.
The process of finding a therapist can be intimidating. I'm happy to give you a chance to get to know me, my style, and get a feel for what it would be like to work with me. I offer a consultation session at no charge. I look forward to meeting you!
