Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Seeking help can be difficult. I believe that with guidance and skills, clients can take control of their wellness and move toward healing. My goal is to provide a safe and inclusive space. My clients often experience anxiety, depression, trauma, or relational concerns. Therapy goals are based on each person, family, or couple's unique needs.
I am a Resident in Counseling with a master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Old Dominion University. I have experience working with a diverse clientele, including survivors of sexual and interpersonal violence. I am also trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
My approach to counseling is empathic, supportive, and nonjudgmental, using evidence-based practices. I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach with techniques and interventions from strengths-based and cognitive-based therapies. I work primarily with teens, adults, and couples.
