I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who is passionate about helping individuals reconnect with their true healthy self to discover their passion, authentic talents, and enthusiasm for life. My goal is to help individuals be their best self physically, emotionally, and spiritually by addressing internal and external barriers to wellness. Often, health challenges, life stressors, and feelings of anxiety, fear, and depression interfere with one's ability to enjoy life. In treatment, together we identify and address those beliefs, worries, and fears that hinder us in a compassionate, accepting, healing approach.
I treat individuals with a variety of concerns including anxiety, depression, chronic pain and other physical symptoms using evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, acceptance-based coping strategies and Internal Family Systems approach to reduce disability and suffering to help individuals regain one's sense of self.
Having worked for a decade with those suffering from both medical and psychological symptoms, I understand the importance of creating a safe space to gain a better understanding of how the mind and body and internal system work together to learn effective coping skills to pursue a better quality of life.
