Recent Updates From Christina Amoroso
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Dealing with challenges and stressors is an unavoidable part of our human experience, and it can certainly leave an unwanted impact in our life. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I aim to look at the whole person, understanding how all the aspects of our lives come together to impact our minds and bodies. Healing happens when all parts of the person are aligned and integrated. I am passionate about helping women, specifically tweens, teens, and 20-somethings, navigate stress, burnout, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity development.
Some methods I particularly enjoy include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approach. I incorporate holistic approaches (mindfulness, meditation, guided imagery, EFT tapping, and breathwork) into the work to ensure the mind, body, and spirit are all supported.
My goal is to provide a safe environment for clients to express what is on their minds, learn beneficial coping skills, understand the mind-body connection, and build a sense of connection with themselves and others.
