Life can be so overwhelming sometimes. What does it take to keep moving forward? I've been there before too. Counseling is my second career. After attending the University of Virginia for my undergrad, I moved to Madrid, Spain. I worked there for three years serving immigrants and refugees. I learned a lot through these cross-cultural experiences. I heard many stories and started adding formative chapters to my own story. These experiences led me to my own counseling. In processing my story, I discovered the power of counseling.

I see counseling a lot like the art of pottery. I have sat with many people who feel like a spoiled lump of clay. But the beauty of both pottery and counseling is that nothing and no one is too far gone. I will offer a warm, non-judgmental atmosphere.
