Recent Updates From Debbie Winter
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024

Helping people face the challenges in their lives that lead to an improved sense of wellbeing and purpose is my focus and passion. By creating a safe, trusting and collaborative environment, my clients feel empowered to learn, grow and change. I work with children, teens, adults and families seeking help with complex challenges in their home, work and school. I have extensive experience in supporting those with social skills deficits, trauma exposure, and family instability, especially those with persistent anxiety and depression, ADHD, ODD and SUD. I utilize research-based methods through a family systems approach.
My therapeutic approach is holistic and integrative in nature, including the use of cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) techniques. My special focus is treating adults and children diagnosed with ADHD through a multi-model approach involving education, DBT skills training, behavior modification and CBT.
My experience as a clinician for an intensive in-home psychiatric program for children and teens allowed me to grow as a counselor, granting me the opportunity to work intimately with clients through a family systems approach. I look forward to working with you on finding solutions that move your life in a positive direction.
