Recent Updates From Edie Brokaw
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
For over 30 years, I have provided psychotherapy to adults. People from all walks of life need help at some point. Some are struggling with anxiety or depression or have experienced something traumatic and can't seem to move on from it. Others come because a relationship is in trouble and they need help to repair and restore it or they are seeking support to survive the break-up. Still others are dealing with issues of grief and loss, burnout, codependency, traumatic childhoods and addictions. With the pandemic, everything is heightened: our fears, our struggles, even our ability to be kind to ourselves and parent our children.
My goal is to provide reflection and help you identify stuck places that keep you from living the life you want. I am here to support you in making changes to create a more meaningful life where you can experience more joy, satisfaction and peace. I offer my clients a relationship which stresses respect and collaboration as well as effectiveness and results
It can feel overwhelming to contact a therapist. I get it. I strive to demystify therapy, making it as accessible as possible. Currently, I am available for phone and video sessions. I offer a free 1/2 hour consultation to see if we are a good fit. Most who contact me, either by phone or via confidential video, tell me they are so glad they did.
