Steadfast Center specializes in helping adults heal from recent and past abuse, neglect, marginalization, and other painful experiences. We understand how these experiences cause wounds that impact relationships, work, and happiness, and are often the root cause of anxiety and depression. Together we create lasting change by lessening the impact of current symptoms such as anxiety and depression, while developing a deeper understanding of the root causes of each person’s struggles. We seek to understand each person’s experiences and the effect they have on their lives, past and present.
I use a holistic, integrated approach that incorporates person-centered, feminist, and multicultural theories. I am inspired to work with individuals struggling with relationships, women's issues, family of origin, and BIPOC/Asian American identity. My goal is to help individuals heal from their trauma and develop a new sense of identity and fulfillment.
I use a relational approach to therapy that is warm, compassionate, and straightforward. I also use expressive arts (sand tray) as an additional tool to connect and deepen one's sense of self. I am committed to providing a safe environment for individuals impacted by acute or chronic trauma to work together towards healing.
