How can you learn to let go? People suffer because of things have happened to them: a bad relationship, family issues, transitions to a new life stage, early childhood trauma. Sometimes it feels like those past injuries hold you in place, make it so you’re barely treading water. These injuries cause anxiety and depression, addiction, nightmares, isolation, a lack of connection.
My focus is experiential -- working with the emotions that come up in the room. I use a variety of techniques, like mindfulness and EMDR, to process and move through challenging life experiences. My goal is help you discover your own strengths, and connect to your own amazing resilience to process difficult moments and interrupt unhealthy habits.
Letting go is hard. It can be difficult to accept our past struggles, but we can change and grow by letting go. I believe that my role as a therapist is help you change your relationship to your suffering.
