Recent Updates From Positive Living
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

I believe that therapy is an opportunity for people to get the most out of life. It is a reflection of one’s courage to face familial changes, life stressors and significant emotional experiences. An overarching goal of my practice is to utilize one’s talents, strengths, creativity, wisdom and optimism to help individuals regain control of their complicated lives. As such, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral and Psychodynamic approaches. I find that Psychodynamic Therapy can be particularly beneficial for those who have lost meaning in their lives or have difficulty forming or maintaining relationships.
My practice is based on positive human functioning, or what makes people thrive, overcome obstacles, and take charge of their good lives. Currently, I only provide therapy via telehealth. This allows me to bring my approach to clients in different parts of NJ, including those seeking privacy and/or struggling with crippling anxiety and depression.
My practice is holistic and unique, as I strive to help individuals find a balance between their body, mind, and spirit. I particularly find this approach useful with individuals that have been diagnosed with various chronic medical conditions, including HIV/AIDS, cancer, obesity, heart disease, and diabetes.
