The Outpatient Department at St. Mary's, known as The Shepherd Program, has been serving adults and families impacted by trauma for over 30 years. Our Team of dedicated and passionate counselors provide trauma-informed counseling utilizing Trauma sensitive and evidenced based models of treatment that may include TF-CBT, EMDR, CBT and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. We support adults with PTSD/trauma impacts and symptoms, including impacts from sexual abuse and sexual assault. We can assist adults with Depression, Anxiety, Caregiver Compassion Fatigue, Grief and Loss, parenting stress, and much more. Our team of clinicians use our collective knowledge, skills and experience to help people heal from trauma. We know that everyone, at some point in their life, experiences a loss, an adverse experience, or a traumatic event(s). We are highly skilled in our roles as Clinicians and we deeply value the collaborative therapeutic relationship with those we serve. In partnership with you, individualized and personal goals can be realized and actively supported.
