Recent Updates From Britni Gibbs
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

Britni Gibbs, MSW, LMSW is an associate therapist with Center for Compassion. She is a licensed psychotherapist, licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners. Britni has devoted the last several years of her Social Work career to working in various settings with individuals and families facing death, loss, and grief. She has worked in hospice, home health, and as a palliative social worker in one of Arizona's largest healthcare systems. She received her BSW from Northern Arizona University in 2017, and her Advanced Standing MSW with an emphasis in health/behavioral health from Arizona State University in 2018.
It is a privilege to walk alongside you through what may be the darkest time of your life after devastating loss. I will hold space for you to grieve openly and help you survive this most painful time. It is a heartbreaking honor to work with you, never forgetting your beloved and finding ways to remember them always.
As Joanne Cacciatore, PhD, so accurately describes in her book Bearing the Unbearable: 'When we love deeply, we mourn deeply'. Grief is part of the human experience and it is my ambition to break the stigma of how our society and community views those who are suffering as a result of grief, trauma, and loss.
