Do you Want Something Different in your Relationship, Family, Work, or Personal Life? Are you Tired and Stressed, Depressed or Anxious? For individuals, couples and families struggling with life - change is possible. I view therapy as a healing relationship, with conversation and support that provides clients with a safe, non-judgmental place to express and explore their feelings. Counseling helps you discover strengths and solutions that are consistent with your unique beliefs and values. We will work together to help move you away from self-blame and examine negative thinking/patterns so that you may achieve your goals, improve relationships and regain peace of mind.
Essentially, my job is to help you help yourself or yourselves... I use cognitive-behavioral therapy to process trauma and change negative thoughts and stressful behaviors. I also use a variety of other modalities to offer support, perspective, communication/relationship skills, rediscovery of intimacy and improved family functioning.
I also specialize in people living with Diabetes -www.denverdiabetescounseling.com. Remember, living life to the fullest is an adventure. It takes courage to go forward and you have already taken the first step on that journey of self-discovery. I look forward to watching you heal, grow and blossom.
