Finding a therapist is a deeply personal journey and it can be stressful and traumatizing to explain the very core of who you are to someone who may not “get it.” I aim to understand your perspective and embrace all aspects of you in a non-judgmental space. I recognize that every individual brings their own perception of their needs and the world around them, so I place substantial focus on identity, culture, and environment. I also believe that therapy is a great way to continue the conversation with ourselves and transition to a space where we are able to lovingly embrace all aspects of our lives.
My approach is built upon compassion, respect, and collaboration. I employ strengths and empowerment perspectives, which are cornerstones of the social work profession, and utilize mindfulness practices, EMDR, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other evidence-based practices to support your growth.
Recognizing that each individual has unique needs and expectations, I aim to ensure we are the right "fit" to meet your needs.
