Recent Updates From Josh Kivlovitz
Last updated | Wednesday March 26, 2025

Currently only accepting clients seeking adult or teen/family DBT comprehensive therapy. I work with teens and adults who are seeking to understand the “why” of their emotions and behaviors, and move away from feeling hopeless, exhausted, or numb. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) to address suicidal thoughts, self-harm, substance use, relationship struggles and other impulsive, emotion-driven behaviors. Together, we will explore your experiences in a non-judgmental and warm space where you can better understand yourself and build skills to create a life worth living.
I utilize research-supported behavioral and cognitive interventions, which help you understand the connection between your thoughts, your feelings, and your behaviors, and gives you the tools to build the life you want on life's terms. I am also experienced in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community with coping through our unique challenges and stressors.
Life can be painful, but it doesn't mean you have to suffer. I know that starting a relationship with a new therapist can be scary or daunting, so I'm really grateful you're taking this step to build a life that aligns with your values and goals. Contact me today to schedule your free 15-minute consultation. I am excited to meet you!
