I use She/Her/Hers pronouns and specialize in eating disorders, disorder eating, body image-related worries as well as anxiety, depression, trauma, dissociation and life-transitions. I emphasize Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, body liberation, mindfulness practices, and Somatic Therapy. I believe in a collaborative, humanistic approach and try to instill a capacity for inner reflection, self-acceptance and growth. I work to offer safe space for ALL people regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, size, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, and abilities.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an emphasis and certificate in Eating Disorders from Lewis & Clark College. I have extensive experience and knowledge working with Binge Eating, Anorexia and Bulimia. My theoretical orientations include Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment theory, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
My mission has been to empower change by creating a holistic practice focusing on mental, physical, emotional and spiritual balance. I work specifically with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, EMDR and IFS to treat trauma and dissociation. Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, is body-based talk therapy, that transforms traumatic memories into strengths and resources.
