I am optimistic that I can help you process and explore those emotions to develop healthy techniques further for “taking the control back” in situations. I'll collaborate with you to help you achieve your goals and understand your boundaries. I offer skills, strategies, and feedback to invite new ideas and change. By using mindful self-compassion and cognitive behavioral skills, I am hopeful that we quiet the hostile critic and work on being our biggest cheerleaders.
I incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and a strength-based approach when meeting with clients to provide a collaborative experience in managing anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. I am passionate about wellness to help individuals uncover mind-body connections to promote an overall active, healthy and fulfilling lifestyle.
I firmly believe in acknowledging client's strengths as they overcome shame and guilt from past life experiences. In doing this, I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment for clients to achieve goals and find their "inner voice" to become empowered, more vulnerable and more self-compassionate in their lives.
