Recent Updates From Laura G
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024

Are you suffering from unresolved trauma, depression, anxiety, or just feel like you could use a “tune-up?” I will meet you where you are and guide you on your journey to living a full life and experiencing the happiness that you so deserve. I am compassionate and supportive, but also may challenge you by examining the sources of your pain, questioning old ways of thinking, and then introducing new perspectives and coping skills.
For the last decade, I have worked as a clinical social worker at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This background has given me considerable experience treating a wide range of mental health issues, including: Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Sleep Problems, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Relationship Problems, and Work Stressors.
I have a down-to-earth therapy style and tend to avoid the psychological jargon that can be overly clinical and confusing to clients. I prefer to use a collaborative, eclectic approach, which is tailored to the individual client’s strengths and weaknesses.
