Struggling with self-worth, depression, addiction and trauma can affect anyone, at any age and at anytime. Taking the first step to improve self-care and taking control of your life worth living can be scary. At Rhoades to Wellbeing, our clinical team provides a therapeutic safe space to help you understand and learn effective ways to cope with life stressors, work through mental health issues, heal unresolved trauma, and recover from substance use. Through a trauma-informed lens, we strive to provide the best possible holistic, creative and client-centered therapeutic services to individuals, couples, adolescents, and families.
I received my master's in counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary. My approach to therapy is to focus on the individual as a whole, which includes one's emotional, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. I have worked with adolescents who were on the autism spectrum. I have also spent significant time working with adults struggling with substance abuse.
I believe we are all relational people. We all need others and relationships to grow as individuals. My focus and education is centered on coming along side others and meeting them and their challenges where they are. I believe good therapy is when one helps and guides another, with wisdom, respect and patience.
