Seeing clients across Iowa via Telehealth! This format allows clients to access therapeutic services in a convenient and flexible way from the comfort of their own environments. I am a licensed master’s level social worker with experience working with individuals who have an inability to control/regulate one's emotions, leading to relationship and/or workplace issues, addiction, and/or involvement in the criminal justice system. I also have experience working in a Native American cultural setting.
I use a systemic and strengths-based approach in working with clients in addressing specific challenges individuals face. I work directly with clients having fluctuation of moods that lead to high-stress situations in one's life.
My personal therapy style is nurturing and direct, displaying a safe space where individuals are comfortable to explore their personal thoughts and feelings. I work with resistant clients to move them forward in their understanding of personal choices and emotional reactions in their relationships and lives.
