Recent Updates From Mariah Hintz
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
Sometimes in life we feel overwhelmed, or sometimes things are manageable but a lot to carry, and there comes a time when we need a professional to help guide us through it. That's where I come in! I believe that clients are the experts of themselves and their lives, and that they have everything within them needed to succeed. Attending therapy takes vulnerability, so I strive to create a kind, safe environment by meeting clients with authenticity, grace, and light humor. I am passionate about serving the mental health needs of kiddos and their parents.
I have experience working in outpatient therapy services with children, adolescents, and teenagers. I focus my work around a person-centered approach and I encourage my clients (and parents) to be invested in their therapeutic journey. I take pride in creating a friendly, non-judgmental space for clients to be heard, known, and empowered.
I believe that a solid, authentic connection is the most important part of a therapeutic relationship and is vital to success in therapy. It is not easy to be a child, an adolescent, a teen, nor a parent in today's world, and I strive to meet my clients where they are with everything they are carrying.
