Accepting clients in January. Anxiety, depression, shame, stress, overwhelm, or burn out are some normal responses to life challenges. As social beings, we benefit deeply from supportive people and environments that assist us in uncovering and integrating the wisdom of our minds, bodies and emotions to return to our essential selves--the part that is unshaped by adaptation to difficult experiences. It is my honor to be present and help facilitate people finding their inner strengths, true self, abilities and qualities they didn't fully realize they own as they release the negative effects of the past.
As an EMDR and somatically trained, trauma-informed therapist, I use either or both methods to help increase sense resilience and ability to be present as a foundation to help reclaim health, inner peace and joy. These modalities make the counseling process experiential and dynamic to support people with making lasting changes on a deep internal level.
EMDR services may be provide to people who have a counselor but ongoing on with your primary therapist is required. Your sense of resilience, peace, comfort, contentment, fulfillment, creativity and joy are important and worth investing in. A free, 10 minute scheduled phone consultation is available to see if we would be a good fit.
