I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and I have worked with children and families for nearly 16 years. I have worked primarily in the public school setting and specialize in working with children and families who struggle with social skills, ODD behavior, conduct disorder, self-esteem, trauma, and emotional regulation. I work with children and families that may exhibit some adjustment difficulties including but not limited to divorce, grief, gender identity, sexual orientation, gender expression, and other issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. I believe relationship building is the key to healing and growth.

There are many treatment modalities in counseling. My goal is to create a safe and accepting therapeutic relationship with my clients. The counseling techniques that I use include Brief Therapy, CBT, Solution-focused, Motivational Interviewing, Play Therapy, Arts Integration, Mindfulness, Conflict Resolution, Crisis Intervention, and Restorative Justice.
My goal is to provide a safe, accepting, and focused environment so that children and families can begin to make shifts from hope to action and then from action to change. We will work together in a partnership to help you meet your goals. I am looking forward to meeting you starting a new journey. Please feel free to reach out for free consultation.
