Recent Updates From Heather Goldman
Last updated | Tuesday March 25, 2025

I have been a social worker for 20 years. I enjoy working with individuals ages 4 to 104. I am experienced with counseling adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, school refusal, peer relationships, self esteem, and emotional dysregulation. I attempt to approach all adolescents and parents within a family systems model. I also have training in marital counseling and enjoy helping couples reconnect again after feeling disconnected for various reasons. My practice is strengths and relationship based and incorporates mindfulness, CBT, DBT and ACT when appropriate.
I provide a supportive and calm approach to help individuals find their strengths and use them to move forward. I empower my clients with new skills to change their negative thoughts, mood and behaviors.
I can help you find a path to feeling better and stronger emotionally as an individual as well as in your relationships by allowing you to think in different ways. "Thoughts are stories that our minds tell us." We can reframe all thoughts.
