Recent Updates From Melissa Huff
Last updated | Tuesday October 22, 2024
Do you feel as if your life has a “before” and “after?” Do you feel stuck, like you can’t shake what has happened to you or your relationships? I would love the opportunity to help you make sense of your story and build your resources to move forward. I graduated from JBU with degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. I have experience working with teens, adults, and couples with relationship issues, trauma/PTSD, grief due to medical diagnosis, and anxiety. I am Latina and can provide sessions in both Spanish and English. I invite you to share your story in the language you feel understood in.
I use CBT, person-centered therapy, and my training in Level 2 Gottman couples' therapy to make sure I am providing and following your lead on what you need. My goal is to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental environment as you, you and your partner, or you and your family choose your new story forward. I look forward to the privilege of working with you.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the needed help.
