As a counselor, I am passionate about hearing individuals' stories and working collaboratively through a strengths-based and trauma-informed approach. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment that is non-judgmental. I value hope, respect, and humor while we work towards your goals in counseling. I have experience working with adolescents, college students, individuals at risk of experiencing homelessness, and rural populations. I enjoy supporting individuals during life transitions and challenges, including stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma.
I am currently a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Minnesota and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in North Dakota. I offer counseling services in-person at Empower Counseling in Fargo, ND, and meet virtually with MN and ND residents.
On a personal note, I enjoy listening to podcasts, kayaking, trying new recipes, and gardening with my husband in my free time. I am also the proud owner of many houseplants! I look forward to hearing more about your story and working together.
