I understand what it is like to feel as though your thoughts and behaviors are being solely ruled by your emotions. This is exhausting to live day after day. This way of living leads to being overwhelmed, dissatisfied, unhappy, stuck, or anxious. You want to gain more happiness and satisfaction within your life, but it feels daunting, you don't know where to begin or perhaps you feel resistance within yourself to even start. You need someone to listen and challenge you with more effective ways of utilizing your whole mind, body, and spirit.
I have experience working with individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and substance abuse. When it comes to my practice in therapy, I am values and emotions-based, I utilize mindfulness and can help you become intentional in your life. I draw from CBT, DBT, Gestalt therapies, and others, depending on your needs in therapy.
When is enough going to be enough for you? When are you going to put your needs first? I'm here to be someone for you. I will listen to hear and help you make sense of what is going on in your life.
