Recent Updates From Shannon Smietana
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

With regards to therapy, I tend to think in terms of months, not years. My role is to help clients get on a track that will lead to resolution of whatever brings them to therapy. I do not look for pathology or blame; rather, I try to help people build on their strengths. I also try to help individuals develop strategies and identify resources that work best for their unique situation.
My couples and family work includes the relationship span. In addition, I enjoy working with young adults, and individuals on a variety of issues, but not limited to, depression and anxiety, self-harm, self esteem/worth, communication and life transitions/adjustment.
Email is the best way to reach out and determine a time where we can meet and determine how to proceed with your therapy journey.
