Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
Accepting New Clients! I am a Mental Health Counselor working towards full licensure in the state of Iowa. I received both my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Iowa. I have worked with ages 4 to adulthood on issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions.
I enjoy working with clients who believe in their ability to change and are motivated to make those changes. In my work, I tend to use person-centered and strength-based approaches. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship and as such my goal as a therapist is to create a safe space and meet each person where they are at in their journey.
Having seen a therapist myself, I recognize the need for counseling and know how difficult taking that first step to reach out can be. Feel free to contact me as I'm more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
