Life is hard and finding the right person to help you with your daily struggles can make a huge impact on your mental health. Aisha hopes to be that person for you. Being from a low-income, first-generation household, she understands one person can make all the difference. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Texas. She received her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2008 and her Master’s in Social Work in 2014 from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She worked in Child Welfare for 6 years providing case management and individual therapy to adolescent/young adults in foster care with a mental health diagnosis.
Children, teens, and young adults are her passion. She works full-time as a Guidance Counselor for a private catholic high school in Dallas. She enjoys providing a “safe zone” to her students to help them deal with a variety of issues (grief, interpersonal relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression).
In addition, she works for a psychiatric hospital providing group/individual therapy to adolescents and adults. She enjoys meeting her clients where they are and supporting them as they navigate the many stressors in life.
