Recent Updates From Alicia Sellitti
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
My approach to therapy is that “no one size fits all,” and to meet you where you are at in a non-judgmental space. I work with adults in individual, group, and couples therapy, with people struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, and other mental health issues detrimental to a fulfilling life. All of my client relationships begin with an opportunity for you to talk and to have someone listen. Whether you are a young professional or recent graduate, or undergoing a transition that finds you stuck at a crossroad, I have the experience to support you as you take the next step.
In our sessions, we will explore different chapters in your life, considering how that past has shaped your present, and how to set the stage for a fulfilling future. I take a solutions-oriented approach, incorporating talk therapy with mindfulness, and and as a classically-trained pianist I also employ therapeutic interventions using music.
Coming to therapy for the first time may feel intimidating, which is why I strive to create a safe, accepting space where we can work together. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, and welcomes all gender identities, sexual orientations, and cultures. Feel free to reach out for a free consultation or for more information.
