Recent Updates From Amanda Kendig
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
When life gets overwhelming, who do you talk to? Really, truly talk to? Is there a space where you can speak freely about your anxieties, life stressors, and your innermost thoughts and feelings? A place where you can celebrate big moments while also processing letdowns? A place where you can share anything without fear of judgment? If the answer to any of these questions is “no,” then I would love to talk with you about counseling. There is something enormously freeing about having a person and a place to share the things that tie up your mind and tangle your heart.
In therapy, we use evidence-based practices (like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, etc.) to work on the things that are causing you to not feel like your authentic self or feel stuck…things like relationship issues, toxic connections, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and so much more.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have the privilege of walking alongside you through these experiences, navigate any and all feelings that arise, and provide a set of tools to help you to get to where you want to go. If you’re in need of a space or a person to talk to, please don’t hesitate to reach out - I would love to hear from you!
