Horses and nature are the background of our therapy porch and I can't wait to invite you in. Horses provide a mirror to our inner world that at times we don't even see. Engaging with clients in unique ways provides experiences that allow for deeper, more meaningful relationships and self - awareness. Horses remind us to be genuine and guide us on a journey towards our authentic selves.
Following a trauma informed model I incorporate a blend of methods through experiential based activities. I follow theory and practice that focuses on trusting our innate ability to heal through positive relationships. I am trained in play therapy, animal and equine assisted therapy and trauma focused methods such as EMDR, and somatic experiencing.
As a parent I know that helping our children be happy and feel success in life is a priority. I work closely with parents to assist then in enhancing their relationship with their struggling child and providing tools that can be used both in the home and at school to support their child's needs.
