Life is a complex journey that challenges us as we move through it. All the experiences we encounter affect the way we interact and interpret our internal and external worlds. When these worlds become overwhelming, associated with negative beliefs, and/or affect our daily functioning it may be time to find support. I believe that we all have the ability to overcome barriers and obstacles that come our way throughout this journey. Each of us can grow and change through the very strengths we have within ourselves. Sometimes these strengths can be hard to access when we are going through a challenging time.
However, through our work together I believe we can access these resilient characters that lie below the surface. My goal as a therapist is to provide my clients with a safe space to explore, process, heal and grow. I use an eclectic approach that is person-centered and trauma-informed.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and identity. I also have experience working with the LGBTQ+ community, families, and individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities.
