Recent Updates From Casey Sturm
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor - Mental Health Service Provider working at Wildflower Children's Counseling. I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Carson Newman University and am board certified. I am experienced in working with both children and adolescents. Through individual therapy, I treat issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, foster care, and problematic child behaviors. I offer Christian counseling services upon request of the individual/parent and believe that faith plays a huge role in mental health.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered and often incorporates the family. I have experience working in social services, foster care, and community mental health. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Play Therapy because play is a child’s language.
I am passionate about giving children and adolescents a voice while providing ongoing empathetic support for families. I believe that everyone deserves a safe place to explore, grow, & heal.
