Dr. C is the founder and owner of iMatter Counseling and Consulting Services, LLC and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH), and an extensive array of additional qualifications and specialized trainings. Her counseling license is in the state of Virginia. Dr. C is passionate about advocating and supporting individuals and families from all walks of life with transforming their unique challenges into successful outcomes. She strives to make those she encounters feel seen and heard, meeting them where they are, and working with them to overcome the roadblocks they encounter during their life journey.

Dr. C's resume is extensive and always evolving in the mental health profession. She has experience including but not limited to school-based therapeutic services, intensive in-home services, crisis stabilization, outpatient therapy, developmental and intellectual disabilities, advocacy, and holistic wellness practices. Dr. C does not take her role in supporting individuals overcoming their challenges or navigating their path to healing lightly.

Dr. C embraces a person-centered, holistic approach integrating breathwork, sound healing & energy work into her practice. She believes that working collaboratively with the client is significant to treating the whole person. Dr. C considers herself a life learner, a creative, and an advocate for those she serves and beyond. She is committed to collaborating with community partners, organizations, and stakeholders to advocate for mental health policies, treatment, interventions, and education.
