Recent Updates From Leah Estes
Last updated | Tuesday February 18, 2025

I view the counseling process through a person-centered lens, which means that I value and uphold empathy, authenticity, and acceptance of your unique values and needs. My therapeutic approach is guided by curiosity, collaboration, and compassion. Some of the elements that I bring to our work will be an exploration of how you express feelings, how your past experiences are impacting your present, and the influence this has on how you show up in the world. My favorite resources that I pull from include expressive arts, attachment, movement and body-based awareness, mindfulness, connection with nature, and trauma-informed care.
I currently provide therapy to adults, couples, and families, focusing primarily on trauma processing, grief, self-esteem issues, including body image concerns, increasing self-worth, and self-exploration, as well as disordered eating, depressive and anxiety disorders, and more. My aim is to make your therapy a supportive and healing experience.
I believe that healing is ongoing, met by exploring our inner most thoughts and feelings. Healing is a nonlinear process and unique to everyone. I am passionate about facilitating a safe space in which individuals can explore their own path of self-discovery.
