I began counseling in the school setting in 2009. I have over 14 years of experience working with children and adolescents. I received my BA in Experimental Psychology from USC-Upstate in 2004. I received my MEd in School Counseling from Clemson University in 2009. I have experience working with children of all ages in a school setting and in a private practice setting.
I specialize in children and adolescent counseling. I utilize play therapy, mindfulness, CBT, Solution Focused, client centered approaches, and other counseling approaches. I have a unique understanding of the school setting due to being a school counselor as well. I am comfortable guiding and advocating for school needs.
I love to see children and adolescents learn new strategies to navigate the stresses that come along with growing up. I love to witness their personal successes and find the confidence it takes to get through circumstances that lead them to counseling.
