Chaa'ishmal aims to increase and promote protective factors against the adverse conditions indigenous people face, and “To embrace Transformational Culture for Positive Change.” Dani is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Social Worker specializing in Trauma and Crises and studied the Neurobiology of Intergenerational and Multigenerational Trauma. As a former Professor at Salem Community College, Dani has taught at Cumberland County, Mt. Laurel, Wilmington University, and Stockton University: former classes include BioEthics, Humanities, BioPsychology, Trauma Informed Care, and Case Management, Human Behavior in the Social Environment, Problems in Contemporary Society, and Social Work and Psychology Courses.
