Whether you are seeking ways to strengthen your relationship to self or others, or experience growth in your development and well-being, I am here to help you navigate these issues and more. I specialize in adolescent and adult therapy with an emphasis on anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship and identity concerns. I have worked in school-based settings, child welfare, foster and adoptive care, residential care, and private practice. I work primarily with individuals, but also enjoy working with couples whether it be premarital or marital counseling.
My primary theoretical orientation is Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), emphasizing the importance of early attachment processes on individual development. EFT is a client-centered approach that can be utilized with individuals, couples, families, and emphasizes utilization of experiential therapy, systemic therapy, and attachment theory.
I am a warm, genuine, and compassionate person, and I strive to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for you to share and work through whatever brings you into therapy. I also believe that you are the expert in your own life and honor and respect your ability to make whatever changes you are seeking in your life. You are not alone, reach out today!
