Profile

I have adopted a mind-body-spiritual focus while working on issues related to trauma, anxiety, depression and addictions. I try to get each client to strive for balance among all aspects of their daily lives while trying to heal themselves from within. Adults and adolescents with anxiety and eating disorders with trauma histories resulting in addictive behaviors has been my primary focus. My goal is to assist clients in developing strong assertiveness skills through which self-empowerment and a sense of identity can emerge.
I strive to help clients to desensitize the level of intensity, both emotionally and physically, so that they can break the re-experiencing of deep past internal pain, which further keeps the addictive cycles present in their lives.
I have also obtained an Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) from the Psypact Commission. By obtaining this authorization, this serves to show that I have met all requirements to be eligible to provide interjurisdictional services under the authority of Psypact (Psychology Interjurisdictional Compact).
