Last updated | Tuesday March 25, 2025

Shame dies when stories are told in safe places. Your story matters. Experiencing trauma can make us feel alone, ashamed, & burdened with self-doubt. When you take the brave step toward therapy and healing, you no longer have to do that alone. I work to hold a safe space so that each person who comes to me is able to openly share their story while learning how to access the tools to heal all wounds that they carry. I use Internal Family Systems as an approach to work on the root of pain and to help clients heal. I am certified in DBT therapy to help individuals regulate their emotions and build skills to navigate relationships.
I typically utilize DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) when I work with people experiencing mood disorders or personality diagnoses. This treatment modality focuses on mindfulness, emotional regulation and distress tolerance in order to cope during difficult situations.
Separation, divorce and legal custody issues can be a form of trauma. I have extensive experience working with trauma recovery and have an understanding of custody issues and concerns parents may have and work to address both parents concerns in a balanced and supportive way while holding a beacon of hope of healing for you and your children.
