Recent Updates From Heather Blankenship
Last updated | Monday February 17, 2025

I provide individual therapy for children who need help managing anxiety, depression, anger, school avoidance, gaming addictions, impulsive behaviors, peer conflict, family relationships, divorce, loss of a loved one, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, suicidal ideations and/or self-harming behaviors.
My approach is trauma-informed and evidenced-based, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT). I value the opportunity for children to deepen their self-awareness and dive into thought exploration using art, writing, mindfulness and talk therapy.
As a child therapist, I will work alongside your child to help them explore and understand their behaviors, gain insight into how their brain works, and explore how they interact and are influenced by the world around them. My goal for every child is to help them gain independence and a sense of agency in their life.
