I am drawn to working with adolescents and families who have serious emotional and behavioral problems. My background includes marriage and family therapy as well as counseling chronic mental health issues. I employ a variety of strategies and techniques to provide relief from symptoms as well as explore the root of the problem. I have experience helping with issues such as ADD/ADHD, personality disorders (utilizing DBT), child/adolescent behavioral issues, divorce, social skills, anger management, and grief.

I utilize an integrative approach in which the body, mind and spirit will all be assessed. I have training in assessing trauma and addressing issues that may be related to past adverse experiences. Moreover, I am trained in treating anxiety, depression and other mental health disorders. I also work with couples and families through difficult transitions.
