Recent Updates From Jennifer Zare
Last updated | Monday March 10, 2025

I aim to make the counseling experience comfortable, safe, and supportive, while also pushing clients to set and achieve goals they may never have thought were possible. Specialization includes the treatment of anxiety and related challenges in children, adolescents and adults. Services are focused on awakening inner potential, strengthening relationships and organizing the world in ways that help clients overcome challenges and meet their own individual life goals.
A research-based eclectic approach to therapy that includes: EMDR (for trauma and personal transformation), cognitive behavioral therapy (ERP, Solution Focused, ACT, DBT) family systems therapy, art and play therapy activities, behavior modification strategies, social skills training methods, and eastern meditation/mindfulness practices.
As a wife and mother of four children, my strategies have been well-informed and repeatedly challenged. Experiencing the death of my mother as a young adult further strengthened my ability to help utilize painful experiences as a method of self-transformation. I believe strongly that it is in our struggles that we develop our strengths.
