We all experience hardships in our personal lives, professional lives and relationships that can leave us feeling stressed, confused, isolated, anxious or depressed. Many people experience shame about seeing a therapist or feel they should handle emotional or mental issues on their own. I want to reassure you that we can all use a little help sometimes and we aren't meant to go through it alone. My goal in therapy is to create a safe space where my clients can work through the difficulties in life without judgment.
I work with adults, adolescents and children who are experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, and behavioral issues. I have a special interest in working with survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and all types of trauma. I believe in tailoring treatment to the unique needs of each client by using a variety of approaches.
I am passionate about the process of counseling and helping my clients heal, grow and make positive and lasting changes. You have already taken a difficult step by beginning to search for help. I hope you will contact me so I can answer your questions, ease your fears, and help you determine if I am the right fit for you.
