Many folks coming in deal with depression, usually associated with a crisis or specific issue in their lives. Often I work with marital stress issues, or parents with children who have their own challenges. Gay, lesbian, bi-sexual, transgender or questioning challenges are all safe subjects with me.
Judgement is not a part of my practice. Most people have already judged themselves, they don't need my help. I have respect for all religious and spiritual beliefs and practices. Or lack thereof. I do not see a value in shame. Guilt gives us insight and amends are possible.
