Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024
I deeply believe in your ability to find peace, develop your intuition and wisdom to make your own choices about your life, and create new meaning and find healing from trauma, including systemic and intergenerational trauma. I am a strengths-based, humanistic, person-centered counselor based in Portland, Oregon but able to work with clients throughout Washington and Oregon using telehealth. I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and strive for inclusivity and curiosity for all people. I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, transitions, grief, indecision, school/work stress, and relationship conflicts, among other issues.
I believe that you are ultimately your greatest source of wisdom and in our work together, we can uncover what is keeping you stuck and find what you need to move forward. I believe in the power of empathy and a strong therapeutic relationship when processing pain, confusion, or heartbreak, feeling peace in the present, and finding hope for your future.
Through warmth and encouraging self-compassion and deep self-inquiry, I see myself as a partner in your process of discovering how to live with greater peace and self-compassion. It takes courage to take the steps to find an enhanced sense of wellbeing. I would be happy to meet with you to see if I might be a good fit for you as a therapist.
