Recent Updates From Karen Noyes
Last updated | Thursday October 10, 2024

I am a licensed clinical social worker who uses a warm, inviting, and nonjudgmental approach to help adults explore, understand, and make changes in difficult circumstances. I am trained in evidence-based modalities as well as relational therapy, allowing me to better help my clients. Whether you are feeling shaken by a major change or loss in your life, long term feelings of loneliness, or feel overwhelmed by your worries or your relationships, I've seen talk therapy help people feel more grounded, certain of themselves, and better able to manage their emotions.
Effective therapy is highly individualized. I integrate my training in CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, as well as a more psychodynamic framework, to best meet the needs of my clients. I've found including exploration around cultural, racial, spiritual and gender experiences to be both illuminating and empowering for my clients.
I consider myself a person-centered and dynamic therapist who is dedicated to meeting my clients where they are, helping them explore themselves with curiosity and care, and acting as a support throughout a variety of painful, frustrating, and totally joyful journeys we experience in life. Life can be messy and complex, and that’s what I’m here for!
